Alex DeBrincat to Play for Team USA at Worlds

DeBrincat will join Kane on Team USA in the IIHF World Championships

On Monday, Patrick Kane was announced as the captain of Team USA for the upcoming IIHF Men’s Hockey World Championships. The Four Feathers crew immediately speculated wether or not Alex DeBrincat, the Blackhawks second-leading goal scorer in 2019, would be joining Kaner in Slovakia come May.

A good captain always protects his teammates.

I was beyond ecstatic when I saw the news. These first round playoff series have been great entertainment, but I miss the Blackhawks so damn much. Of course I would prefer to watch Kane and the Cat lead the Hawks to a Stanley Cup run in May, but this is the next best thing. I hope these two channel their frustration about missing the playoffs into a dominant performance for the stars and stripes.

Team USA will begin play on May 10th against the host country. Let’s go.
