Draft Madness

The NBA Draft is loaded with talent, but only one team will end up with the prized Zion Williamson

With the draft on the horizon, plenty of great players will be selected by pro teams. With some alarming upsets in the NCAA Tournament, many fantastic prospects will enter the NBA without an NCAA championship. The biggest names coming to the stage will be none other than the Duke big three of F Zion Williamson, F RJ Barrett, and F Cam Reddish, Murray State G Ja Morant, and North Carolina’s G Coby White. Honorable mentions include F Rui Hachimura from Gonzaga, F DeAndre Hunter from Virgina, Texas Tech G Jarrett Culver, Vanderbilt G Darius Garland, and Texas F/C Jaxson Hayes.

Will Duke bounce back from the playoff struggle after losing the heart and soul of their team? You know Coach Krzyzewski always has a little something hidden up his sleeve. Duke is always good for a fantastic draft class. I mean, if you have a legitimate shot at the NBA, wouldn’t you want to go to the ACC powerhouse? Like most people outside of the Duke-zone I cannot stand the team, but you can’t knock the programs’s hustle.

The lottery is always a fun thing to keep an eye on, especially now for Chicagoland fans of the Bulls. However, teams like the Knicks, Cavaliers, and Suns might be a little bit more excited about attaining their piece of history in this absolutely stacked draft class. With New York, Cleveland, and Phoenix having the same odds at the number one pick with a 14.0% chance, the Bulls slot in at a 12.5% chance, and the Hawks have a 10.5% chance. I’m very much looking forward to tuning in to the NBA Draft on June 20th to find out where these studs land.
