On the last day of preliminary games, Blackhawks players and prospects were active again. Check out all the highlights below.

Germany defeats Finland, 4-2

Henri Jokiharju‘s pass to the point resulted in a secondary assist on Finland’s first goal of the game:

Dominik Kahun found himself alone in front of Finland’s net and fired home this wicked backhander past Blackhawks goalie prospect Kevin Lankinen:


Czech Republic defeats Switzerland, 5-4

Philipp Kurashev helped corral a loose puck behind the net that ended up standing as a secondary assist on Switzerland’s second goal:

Dominik Kubalik found himself wide open after a Swiss turnover and buried his fourth goal of the tournament:


Latvia defeats Norway, 4-1

Andreas Martinsen recorded an assist on Norway’s lone goal:


Canada defeats United States, 3-0

Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat, and Dylan Strome were all quiet in this one as Matt Murray shut out the Americans to clinch first place for Canada in Group A.


Russia defeats Sweden, 7-4

Russia remained perfect in the tournament, and Artem Anisimov helped get them going. Sweden led 1-0 after the first period, but Anisimov buried this shot under a minute into the middle frame to open the Russian scoring:

Both Erik Gustafsson and Marcus Kruger were held scoreless for Sweden.

Tomorrow is an off day before quarterfinal play begins on Thursday. All of the matchups from here on out will feature Blackhawks players or prospects. Here’s a look at Thursday:
