UPDATE: Kimbrel’s deal, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, is worth $43 million over three years.

The deal also includes a vesting option for a fourth season. The dollar breakdown is $10 million this season, and $16 million in both 2020 and 2021. A buyout after year three would cost $1 million (per Jeff Passan on Twitter).
