The White Sox have promoted second baseman Nick Madrigal to AA Birmingham this morning. This comes as no surprise as Nick has been playing very well in Winston-Salem and the better the competition, the more the organization can see what he’s made of.

One would have to think more roster moves may be coming sooner rather than later. It’s refreshing to see the White Sox prospects moving throug the system at an efficient rate. Nick’s play of late has earned him this promotion and it will be exciting to watch him develop even more.
