Is Big Z expanding his horizons?

Is former Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano looking to broaden his appeal to potential MLB suitors? See below from The Chicago Dogs Twitter:

El Toro played as the DH in the third game of the season against the Gary SouthShore RailCats May 19th, with ok results, 1-4 with a single and a K. Last night against the Kansas City T-Bones he turned it up a notch, 2-4 with a double, and 2 RBI. Tonight, I think he goes yard.

Why not hit and pitch if you are Big Z? All it takes is a hot streak and the novelty of it is enough to spur a minor league deal. Plus, dude knew how to chop down a tree:
