The Chicago Bulls just selected North Carolina point guard Coby White with the seventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft.
White was North Carolina’s leading scorer this year and lead the Tar Heels through a tough ACC schedule. While rumors circulated about the Bulls trading the pick up until it was announced they’d be taking White, a major bullet named Lonzo Ball was dodged.
Personally, I think the Bulls could have taken a chance on Cam Reddish, who was a role-playing starter on this year’s version of the Duke superteam. According to numerous reports, Reddish was not very high on the Bulls draft board.
Anyway, Coby White will have a huge impact on GarPax’s future in Chicago since the Bulls have a glaring need at the point. Welcome to the greatest city in the world, Coby.
