The Chicago White Sox made a roster move today reinstating pitcher, Dylan Covey from the 10-Day Injured List. The corresponding move was DFA’ing relief pitcher, Juan Minaya.
Dylan Covey returning to the White Sox starting rotation finally gives the Sox a solidified five starter rotation. Covey, who has been injured since June 9th, holds a 1-4 record with a 4.58ERA this season. He will get the start today against Oakland.
Minaya appeared in 22 games for the White Sox, striking out 27 batters. Minaya posted a 3.90ERA in his time with the Sox this season.
