NEWS: Blackhawks Re-sign Brendan Perlini

The Blackhawks and forward Brendan Perlini have come to an agreement on a one-year contract to remain with the team for the 2019-20 season.

After a long month-plus of waiting, the Blackhawks and forward Brendan Perlini have come to an agreement on a one-year contract to remain with the team for the 2019-20 season.

As noted in the tweet, the contract is for about $874K, a win for the Blackhawks since reports originally indicated Perlini was looking for something between $1.5 million and $2 million for one season.

Perlini showed flashes of brilliance last year, scoring 14 goals and adding seven assists over 68 games with the Blackhawks and Arizona Coyotes last season. If Perlini can show more consistency with his play, he could be a critical part of the scoring depth this team is going to need from the bottom six.

The Four Feathers group also hopes now we can get Perlini on the show to talk some footie and hockey!
