Dylan Cease was scratched from tonight’s game against the Cleveland Indians.
Dylan Cease was scratched from tonight’s game against the Cleveland Indians. Cease took the mound to warm up and then went to the dugout where he never remerged. Jose Ruiz is getting the emergency start.

As I was literally typing this, it came out that Dylan Cease has a left hamstring strain. Well, then thank God it isn’t serious.

Dylan’s year had some up and downs but he came on strong in his last few outings. It was also a good thing to get him up when the Sox did. The fact he was able to experience Major League batters and get his feet wet will surely help to go into the 2020 season.
