Your Batting Champ: Tim Anderson

Tim Anderson is the White Sox first batting title winner since Frank Thomas in 1997.

You know how every MLB account touts Javy Baez as “the most electric player” in the MLB?

Sure, whatever. On the South Side, we have Tim Anderson, the guy who bat flips on dingers and it’s electric every time! This guy defies the prototypical modern baseball philosophy and swings the bat freely. Justifiably so, he ends up being the batting champ.

You can tell he made his adjustments as the season progressed. He takes off-speed pitches to the opposite field like he’s playing 12″ softball. Tim Anderson is the White Sox first batting title winner since Frank Thomas in 1997. That’s some fantastic company. Shoutout to Tim Anderson for hitting .335. We’re proud to have him as our shortstop on the Sox!
