In a season that he started out slow out of the gate, White Sox rookie Eloy Jimenez sure finished it with a bang by being named the American League Rookie of the Month for September.
Impressive here is that fact that 17 of his 34 hits in the month of September were extra-base hits, including nine home runs and eight doubles in just 24 games. While many White Sox fans had hoped to see this type of production as early as April, it is certainly promising to see it now.
