Whether you love him or hate him, you cannot deny what Hawk has brought to the baseball community: incredible home run calls, unmatchable passion, and insurmountable fandom. Yes, he was biased. He was supposed to be. He announced for HIS team. Although he’s probably annoyed every viewer at one time or another, he has made an impact on every White Sox fan’s life. We use his “Hawkisms” daily. People from other cities know his notable home run calls. Hawk is one of a kind. He deserves this honor, and he should be Hall of Famer.
