I sat here on this very platform and told you guys this week’s episode of Bears on Tap that the Bears would win this weekend. I didn’t know how at the time but this definitely helps the bottom line for our Chicago Bears to get back in the win column.
Matthew Stafford‘s absence from today’s game leaves Lions coach Matt Patricia with an interesting decision as to whom he will start. The clear favorite would have to be Jeff Driskel with former Purdue standout David Blough being the presumable backup for the afternoon. This is a Bears defense that is hungry and has gotten the short end of the stick so far this season.
Jeff Driskel spent time backing up Andy Dalton in Cincinnati before landing in Detroit. During that time in Cincinnati, he amassed 1,003 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions during the 2018 season. Although this doesn’t guarantee a Chicago Bears victory, I’m here to tell you Jeff Driskel wants none of the smoke, Bears by a thousand!
