Chicago Bulls center Cristiano Felicio broke his wrist during practice on Monday. Felício has not been on the active roster yet this season, as he has been outplayed by Luke Kornet and Daniel Gafford for backup forward depth.
Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen spoke to media about the injury and what it means for Felicio.
“We had the X-ray. It did not show up on the X-ray. Then we had the CT scan and it showed up on the CT scan,” Boylen said. “We’re going to do an MRI just to let them give us a little more certainty on maybe how much separation there is in there and how much time it will be.”
Cristiano Felício has been somewhat of a disappointment after signing a four-year, $32 million dollar contract on July 6th, 2017. He just never lived up to the contract everyone’s favorite management duo gave him. That’s not to say he can’t turn it around, but he has a lot to work on to make that happen.
