College Basketball Bets – 12/7/19
The other night, the bets went 2-3. I’m very sorry. It hasn’t been the best week for the sharps, either. Without further ado, this is how to make your money back today.
Wisconsin vs. Indiana (-1)
Indiana showed the other night that they are for real (at least at home). Before Florida State, they hadn’t really been tested against real competition. Well, they won handily. Look for Indiana to run the ball on Wisconsin, who hasn’t shown much of anything this season.
Pick: Indiana -1
SMU (-4) vs. Georgetown
Georgetown lost a couple players due to robbery and assault, and one of their best players, James Akinjo has entered the transfer portal. Woof. That is awful and can do a lot to the locker room, which is why I think the undefeated Mustangs of SMU take it to them.
Pick: SMU -4
Temple (-3) vs. Missouri
Now, Temple is a slight favorite at home. Missouri has lost three straight (including to Charleston Southern, YUCK!), and Temple played Maryland pretty closely when they matched up. I know Quinton Rose can score and dish, and Nate Pierre-Louis can grab some board for the Owls. Former Illini players or commits rule the Tigers team with Mark Smith leading in scoring and Jeremiah Tilmon hauling in 5.1 boards per game. Typically I’d take a team that just had a letdown game, but I think Temple could win this game by 5+. Give me the Owls.
Pick: Temple -3
There you have it, people. Go out there and win some money! If you feel like getting risky, the Illini will beat Maryland. Just a thought.
