With 2019 and the decade coming to a close in a few short weeks, On Tap Sports Net is ringing in the next chapter in the 21st century by celebrating the best players and moments in Chicago sports over the course of the last ten sometimes fantastic, but mostly agonizing years.
The talented team of contributors here at On Tap Sports Net will be rolling out a fan engagement-driven competition that will conclude with the selection of an “all-decade” team for the big-five pro sports teams that call this marvelous city home.
Over the next week, the On Tap crew will be making cases for their picks for the all-decade teams across the Chicago sports landscape and sharing them with you before the voting begins.
There will be a total of five categories to voice your opinion and vote on, and here’s what they’ll be:
- All-2010s Chicago White Sox Team
- All-2010s Chicago Cubs Team
- All-2010s Chicago Blackhawks Team
- All-2010s Chicago Bulls Team
- All-2010s Chicago Bears Team
Each all-decade team will have four candidates for each position or roster spot that will be voted on by readers next week and ultimately decide the composition of each team.
