Blackhawks Recall John Quenneville

The Blackhawks have recalled John Quenneville from Rockford.

This morning, the Blackhawks announced that they have recalled forward John Quenneville from the Rockford IceHogs.

Quenneville, who was acquired from the Devils at the draft in exchange for John Hayden, has tallied eight goals and five assists in 19 games for the IceHogs. He has been on a hot stretch as of late, recording four goals and four assists over his last five games.

Quenneville will likely get a look over Dylan Sikura with Brandon Saad, who was placed on injured reserve yesterday, expected to miss a couple of weeks with an ankle injury. Sikura stepped in last night, but logged just 6:57 TOI. Hopefully Quenneville can bring a little more to the table if he does end up making his Blackhawks debut against his former team on Monday night.
