The Chicago Bulls announced that Center Wendell Carter Jr. will miss the team’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday with a sprained ankle. He suffered the injury during the Bulls 118-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.
This is a huge blow to the Bulls rotation, as they will be missing arguably their best defender. Carter Jr. is averaging 11.7PPG, 9.9RPG, and 1.3BPG on this season. Wendell has started every game for the Bulls so far this season. Hopefully, for the Bulls’ sake, he will be back on the court soon.
