The White Sox and Carlos Rodon have settled at $4.45 million for the 2020 season, per Robert Murray.
Rodon makes sense for the second half of the season and rotation depth. He sports a career 4.08 ERA and 4.25 FIP, although his numbers are often skewed by injuries. That said, this salary is reasonable since he will only be playing half of the 2020 season. $4.45 million for a solid lefty starter is a bargain, even if he begins pitching in July.
