Chicago Bulls center Daniel Gafford is gearing up to make his first career start at the United Center tonight against the Indiana Pacers.
The second-round pick out of Arkansas has been quite the surprise for Bulls fans this year. His highlight blocks and ferocious lobs have brought much hype and excitement around the young big-man.
This season, Gafford has appeared in 28 games, averaging 4.5 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 1.4 BPG while playing 12.1 MPG.

With Wendell Carter Jr. being sidelined four to six weeks, Gafford has the chance to see a bulk of playing time and solidify himself as a key rotational player going forward. If he’s given the opportunity to play most minutes at the center position, Gafford has the chance to put up a pretty nice stat line.
