On January 17th, 2020, the third chapter of the Bad Boys saga will be released, almost 25 years after the original. Our excitement for the release led to us doing what we do best, attempting to quantify things in sports terms. As a result, we found ourselves looking at the bad-ass team of Marcus Burnet (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and wondering, which Chicago sports duo has the clout and cool of the Bad Boys? There is one important note. The ULTIMATE Chicago duo is being excluded from the list. Scottie and MJ are too legendary for there to be any debate, so we are just outright skipping them.

The On Tap team will be releasing their nominations for the duos they feel deserve the title of Chicago’s best (again, non-MJ/Pippen division!) and it will be up to you all to decide on who ultimately deserves the title. I will keep a running list here that links to each one.

Nominee #1: Patrick Kane/ Jonathan Toews – Patrick Comiskey

Nominee #2: Kris Bryant/Anthony Rizzo – Marty Lavelle

Nominee #3: Paul Konerko/Mark Buerhle
