Cubs Sign Reliever Jason Adam

The Cubs are in agreement on a contract with relief pitcher Jason Adam.

Not to be outdone by the Minnesota Twins signing Josh Donaldson yesterday, the Chicago Cubs have a contract agreement in place with relief pitcher Jason Adam.

Drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the fifth round of the 2010 MLB Draft, he reached the majors with KC in 2018, posting a 6.12 ERA across 32.1 IP. In 2019, his contract was purchased by the Toronto Blue Jays. Adam eventually joining their major league roster in August 2019, where he put up a 2.91 ERA over 21.2 IP.

Details of his contract are yet unknown, we will update with more details as they become available.
