Tomorrow, TWENTY-ONE ranked teams will be in action. I’ll be providing my three favorites, but as always, follow along with me on Twitter for picks as the day goes on. Last Saturday we went 7-2, so let’s RIDE!
Kansas State vs. West Virginia (-6)
We’re seeing 70% of the early bets come in on Kansas State. Good. If you’re giving me an edge with Bob Huggins, Derek Culver, and the stout West Virginia press, I’ll gladly take it. I get it’s a Big 12 game and could be low-scoring. I still expect the Mountaineers to smother Kansas State in the second half.
Pick: West Virginia (-6)
DePaul/Butler – Total 129.5
I’m going against my tendency. I know. It’s SCARY. It doesn’t matter. It’s DePaul’s home court. They’re going to push the pace with Charlie Moore and company. I just anticipate this total being closer to 135. Go with the over.
Pick: Over 129.5
St. John’s vs. Seton Hall (-5)
Here’s another Big East wager for you. Seton Hall can shoot, and you know who can really shoot? The potential player of the year, Myles Powell. If he doesn’t end up in “chuck” mode, you’re in decent shape if you’re backing the Pirates. I don’t typically like betting a team after a big road win, but St. John’s is streaky enough, so I’m willing to do just that.
Pick: Seton Hall -5
It’s only mid-January and I already want to bet every single game. I’ll keep to my educated wagers instead. As always, follow me on Twitter @cwsdjt for spur-of-the-moment picks during the day. I can guarantee I will have them. Good luck!
