Cale Morris, a goaltender for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish men’s hockey team, has been nominated for the 2020 Hobey Baker Award, which is an honor bestowed upon the best NCAA hockey player.
Morris has racked up seven wins, a 2.53 goals-against average, and a .917 save percentage over 18 games during his senior year with the Irish. Over his collegiate career with Notre Dame, he has posted a 2.16 goals-against average, a .934 save percentage, and 53 wins in 89 games played, good out for a .635 win percentage.
