Hopefully, a trip from Wrigley North rejuvenates the veteran reliever.

According to Jeff Passan, the Chicago Cubs have added to their plethora of Major League signings this offseason by bringing Jeremy Jeffress aboard today.

The former Milwaukee Brewers reliever struggled in 2019 before being released on September 1st. Previously, Jeffress posted career bests in ERA, WHIP, and K/BB ratio in 2018. He was named to his first All-Star game that season with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Cubs’ bullpen is in desperate need of assistance after losing multiple pieces that played a key role in 2019. Here’s hoping a trip from Wrigley North rejuvenates the veteran reliever.
