Illinois Gaming Board Issues Sports Licenses

This development means that Illinois may actually be on track to have legalized sports betting before March Madness begins

Some exciting news came to the forefront of the gambling space today in Illinois.

The Illinois Gaming Board has issued three licenses to sportsbooks, including Argosy Casino Alton, Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, and Rivers Casino in Des Plaines. You can review the details on their website.

This is very exciting news for degenerates all across the land and helps sell Illinois and the Chicagoland area to tourists. This development means that Illinois may actually be on track to have legalized sports betting before March Madness begins. This process has dragged on for months since legislation was passed last June.

Hopefully, the Gaming Board allows inhabitants of said sportsbooks (and online spaces, when it gets to that) to bet on local colleges, as that has been part of the concern for some politicians. Anyways, this is a huge move in the right direction for the Illinois sports gambling landscape.
