College Basketball Bets – 2/22/20
Three college basketball bets for Saturday’s slate.
Here we are for another Saturday of hoops. Last week we got destroyed, but we’ve made up a little ground since then. Here are my picks for today:
TCU vs. West Virginia (-5)
West Virginia beat TCU by 32 the last time these two faced off, so do you really think TCU should cover this line? No. I do not see Kevin Samuel being able to match up with Derek Culver or Oscar Tshiebwe. West Virginia’s press will out-man TCU’s break. Bet the Mountaineers.
Pick: West Virginia -5
Baylor (-1.5) vs. Kansas
This is obviously the matchup of the day, and everyone wants to bet this game. The last time these two battled, Baylor won by a sizable margin. Now, these two head to Waco, Texas with each team coming off of a tough loss. I think these teams are much more even than this line tells. Baylor should win by, roughly, four.
Pick: Baylor -2
Auburn/Tennessee – Total 134.5
Neither Auburn nor Tennessee necessarily have strong defenses, according to KenPom.com. This is a low total for teams that like to put up points, especially on Auburn’s home floor.
Pick: Over 134.5
As always, follow me on Twitter @cwsdjt for picks. I post a thread of all of my picks each day in addition to this article. Let’s keep the mojo of the last two days going!
