College Basketball Bets – 2/25/20
Three college basketball bets to kick off Tuesday’s slate.
Alright, we went 9-4 over the weekend and 2-1 on Monday. We’re back on track. We have a strong slate of games for this fine Tuesday night. Get off of work and exercise your degeneracy.
Tulsa/Tulane – Total 133
The last time these two faced off, Tulsa won by 13 at Tulane and the total finished at 121. I would expect some of the same this time around. Neither of these teams rank in the top of the NCAA in adjusted offensive efficiency on KenPom.com. In fact, Tulane ranks 189th and Tulsa ranks 157th. Take the under.
Pick: Under 133
Auburn vs. Mississippi (-8.5)
The last time Auburn came back and snuck out of Oxford, Mississippi with a one-point victory. I think Ole Miss could still lose this game, but this line is pretty steep. If you know my betting tendencies, Ole Miss is coming off losses to Kentucky, Missouri, and Alabama. They should cover this line.
Pick: Mississippi +8.5
Michigan State/Iowa – Total 151.5
As an avid Big Ten watcher and a proud owner of a Big Ten fantasy basketball team, you know I have to bet this game. However, I thought the line at -8.5 in advantage of Michigan State was about right, so I moved quickly to the total. Both of these teams rank in the top three of the Big Ten in points per game (Iowa 78.5, Michigan State 75.5). Just doing simple math and adding the two together would put us at 154. The opener was 154.5. The only difference is MSU has not gone over 151 in ANY of their Big Ten games this season. Do you truly think they will now? At home, the game will be played at MSU’s pace, AKA below 151.5.
Pick: Under 151.5
