College Basketball Bets – 2/29/20
We’re back for another wonderful Saturday chock full of college basketball action.
We’re back for another wonderful Saturday chock full of college basketball action. Before the Davidson +10.5 bet on Friday, we’re 18-10 over the last seven days. Let’s look to improve on that.
UNC-Wilmington vs. Delaware (-3)
If you don’t know already, I have this stupid ongoing joke that “we’re BIG Blue Hens guys at On Tap Sports Net” because of the number of times I’ve found myself betting on Delaware. Here’s a similar spot. Delaware is coming off a loss to College of Charleston. If you know me, I love betting teams off a loss because I don’t think the market is giving them enough credit in the following game. That’s the same deal here. Delaware should win by more than three even on the road. Hell, they beat UNCW earlier in the season by 14 at home. Do you really believe in an 11-point adjustment just for UNCW home-court advantage? I don’t. Bet the Hens.
Pick: Delaware -3
Marquette/Seton Hall – Total 148
The last time these two teams faced each other they scored a combined 126 points. This seems off to me. Seton Hall has only eclipsed the 150 total in their games this month once. I know both teams have shooters in Markus Howard and Myles Powell, but I don’t see this going over.
Pick: Under 148
Clemson vs. Florida State (-3.5)
Clemson beat Duke and Louisville at home. That’s why this game is priced the way it is. What they don’t tell ya is that Clemson also lost to Notre Dame at home. Louisville beat Clemson in December by more than 20, so I think that neutralizes it. Do I expect the same to happen to Florida State? Nope, but I do expect the Seminoles to win with no notable injuries. Also, they beat Clemson by 21 in December.
Pick: Florida State -3.5
