College Basketball Bets – 3/6/20
Get warmed up for the rest of March with these three college basketball bets.
Friday was a tough night, but we press on. We’ve been strong on these picks the last three weeks: 45-33-1 since 2/17. Let’s break down my favorites for Saturday.
Northwestern vs Penn State (-7.5)
Yes, this game is on the road in Evanston, but I do not care. Penn State is coming off of a loss, where they blew a 19-point lead to MSU. They lost the game prior to Iowa and they want blood going into the Big Ten tournament next week. Northwestern doesn’t have much to play for, as they will be in the first day of Big Ten Tournament games. Lamar Stevens should ravage the Wildcats’ defense.
Pick: Penn State -7.5
West Virginia (-1) vs. Baylor
West Virginia has fallen off these recent weeks. For example, they snuck past Iowa State on the road. They do play well at home, but the last time these two met, Baylor handled them. If you’re making Baylor a dog, I have to bet them in this situation. I don’t care if the spot is not right. I do not see West Virginia winning this game.
Pick: Baylor +1
Tennessee/Auburn – Total 137
Both of these teams totaled for 139 points the last time they played. However, both also rank outside of the top-50 in adjusted defensive efficiency, according to KenPom.com. I expect the total to be around 145, so take it before it continues increasing.
Pick: Over 137
As always, follow me on Twitter @cwsdjt for picks. I post a thread of all of my picks each day in addition to this article. I will definitely have more plays than just these three, so pay attention to my Twitter feed. Good luck. #DontSweat
