Following suit with the NBA, NHL, and several other sports leagues, the MLB has suspended action due to coronavirus concerns.

Spring Training games already in action today will mark the last baseball action for a while. Details have not emerged on the specifics of the regular season postponement, but as Rosenthal pointed out, it will be at least two weeks. Unlike the NBA and NHL, leagues in the middle of their regular seasons, the MLB is able to take preemptive action regarding the health and safety of everyone involved in the game of baseball.
