The sports world has gone a week without action due to coronavirus concerns, and reports are starting to swirl regarding future occurrences in baseball.

Upon reviewing the Associated Press’s report, it’s important to note that these talks are still in the very early stages and nothing, not even a projected date for resuming games, is set in stone yet. In such an infrequent and odd case like the coronavirus shutdown has brought upon, there are tons of logistical adjustments that will need to be made. From a financial standpoint, foregoing the draft and delaying the international signing period are just two moves that may take place to preserve dollars. More to come as this situation develops.
