Denzel Mims is walking into a Jets team that has a lot of names in the wide receiver room. The main players he will be competing against are Jamison Crowder, Quincy Enunwa, and Breshad Perriman. Mims’ skillset is well-rounded. He has the speed to be able to break away from defenders with sudden moves and he can go get up to grab the ball over the top of the defense. He is a player worth keeping an eye on for this upcoming fantasy football season. He could certainly make an early and consistent impact for the Jets. Watch him closely during the preseason to see how he works with Darnold.
Over his final three seasons at Baylor, Mims’ numbers are truly something to behold, as he was about to average 15.7 yards per catch. He also hauled in 12 touchdowns as a senior. The Jets will need to make sure there is talent around him to further grow his game.
