With the 11th overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Chicago White Sox have selected LHP Garrett Crochet.
Crochet is a 6-foot-6, 218 lb lefty from the University of Tennessee. Over three seasons with the Vols, Crochet posted a 10-9 record, 4.64 ERA, and 149 strikeouts over 132 innings in 36 games.
The lanky southpaw has drawn comparisons to Chris Sale because of his physical stature and ability to miss bats. Crochet possesses a high ceiling, but past injuries remain a concern for the newest White Sox prospect.
