The White Sox have announced who will be invited to their summer/spring training starting this week.

The return of Carlos Rodón and Michael Kopech are crucial to postseason 2020 hopes for the squad. Fan favorite prospects like Yermin Mercedes and Andrew Vaughn also made the cut to work out with the big league club.

Luis Basabe makes a return to work out with the MLB outfielders. This is somewhat surprising, but an interesting move to see how he compares against the recent bench outfielders in Adam Engel and Nicky Delmonico.

The biggest question out of camp will be if former 1st-rounder, Nick Madrigal, will break with the MLB club right out of camp. As noted, the White Sox may be concerned with allowing Madrigal to use service time, but in a shortened season where the Sox only play AL and NL Central teams, it may be a great shot at the playoffs. White Sox baseball is right around the corner.
