Chicago Bears Kicking Competition 2.0

Well, it seems as if the Chicago Bears are going to continue the trend of bringing in kicking competition. So, Mr. Eddy Piñeiro, do not get too comfortable. The competition might not be as crazy as what happened in 2019, and he should have a little bit of a ‘leg’ up on his competition.

One contender is Ramiz Ahmed, and this will not be the first kicking competition in his football career. In 2017 he was a student walk-on at Nevada. That same year he earned the kick off duties and in 2018 he finally earned the chance to kick the field goals. Basically, he has been battling for a chance every time he is on a roster.

Ramiz Ahmed is no stranger to kicking competitions, having earned his spot on the University of Nevada.

As training camps begin to open this is a position worth monitoring. At this point, the job could be anyone’s.
