At WWE Extreme Rules: The Horror Show, New Tag Team Champions were crowned. During the opening match between The New Day vs. Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, which was a Tables Match for the Smackdown Tag Team titles, the challengers ended up pulling off the surprising win. They were able to put Kofi Kingston through not one, but two tables using a double team powerbomb from the top rope.
Where will this lead the new champions? Could we see a rematch come this upcoming Friday night? We finally have new champions for the first time since April.
