The Chicago Bears are moving on from tight end Adam Shaheen, as they are reportedly trading him to the Miami Dolphins. It seems as though they will still able to get something in return for the struggling tight end as well. According to Pro Football Talk, the return will include a conditional 2021 sixth-round draft pick.
Shaheen recorded 26 receptions for 249 yards and and four touchdowns over 27 games during his three seasons in Chicago.
With the release of Ben Braunecker earlier this week in addition to this reported trade, the Bears are trimming names from the tight end room as training camp approaches. This move should hopefully give the former 45th overall pick from the 2017 draft a second chance in a new location.
