The White Sox have placed rookie pitcher Jimmy Lambert on the ten-day injured list with a forearm strain.
Although a forearm strain is sometimes indicative of larger issues, Lambert will be on the ten-day injured list for the time being. The team recalled RHP Matt Foster from the Schaumbert taxi squad to fill the vacant roster spot. The White Sox will have more information over the next few days.
Lambert righty underwent Tommy John surgery last year. He appeared in two games for the White Sox in two innings and struck out two batters this season before landing on the injured list. Hopefully he recovers soon.
