Nick Madrigal Exits Game Early

White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal exited tonight’s game in the third inning after an apparent left wrist injury.

White Sox second baseman Nick Madrigal exited tonight’s game in the third inning after an apparent left arm injury he sustained while sliding into third base.

In the bottom of the inning, Danny Mendick came off the bench to replace Madrigal at second base.

UPDATE: The White Sox announced that Madrigal sustained a left shoulder injury. He will be reevaluated tomorrow when the club returns to Chicago.
