With MLB rosters reducing from 30 to 28 players, the White Sox made two moves today to comply with the requirement.

Nick Madrigal suffered a separated left shoulder after sliding awkwardly into third base on Tuesday night, so he winds up on the ten-day injured list.

The team also optioned outfielder Nicky Delmonico to the Schaumberg taxi squad. With Nomar Mazara joining the team earlier this week, optioning Delmonico was an expected move.

Tim Anderson and Reynaldo Lopez are both working their way back to game action with rehab stints in Schaumberg, so the White Sox will have to make a few more corresponding moves as soon as those two players are ready to return.
