The White Sox have placed Aaron Bummer on the 10-Day Injured List, after he left Friday’s game with bicep tightness. With the shortened season the team will hope for a speedy recovery.
In conjunction with the Bummer news, the Sox also designated Brady Lail for assignment, recalled hard-throwing Zack Burdi, and purchased Drew Anderson’s contract. Renteria expects Tim Anderson to return Monday, so look out for more news on that end.
