On Friday, August 28, 2020, the world lost actor Chadwick Boseman. Boseman was a renowned actor best known for playing T’Challa, or Black Panther, in the Avengers series, Captain America: Civil War, and Black Panther films. What makes his loss today so tragically poetic was that he played Jackie Robinson in the movie ’42’, a film about Jackie breaking the color barrier, on the 2020 celebration of Jackie Robinson day. The loss of a fictional hero, but real life angel, hurts us all.
After a four year battle with colon cancer, the 43-year-old icon passed away peacefully in his home with his family. Chadwick Boseman is survived by his wife.
