Chicago Bulls’ point guard Coby White has earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors for the 2019-20 NBA season. The Bulls selected the North Carolina product with the seventh overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
White enjoyed a decent start to his rookie year, averaging 11.3 PPG, 2.2 assists, and 3.6 TRB in his first 35 appearances. He started to pick up some speed in his final 30 games of the 2019-20 campaign as well. Most notably, in the month of February, as he averaged 20.9 PPG, 4.8 assists, and 4.0 TRB in 32.4 MPG.
The first-year guard will look to expand on his successful rookie campaign in the upcoming NBA season. Currently, the Bulls are looking toward the 2020 NBA Draft to repeat last year’s success. With the fourth overall pick — a nice changeup from multiple years in the seventh spot — the team will look to find a young stud to team up with White and the rest of their core.
