Per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the 2020 college basketball season starts on November 25.

Teams have a choice of 24 games and three multiple-team events, 24 games and two multiple-team events, or 25 games and no multiple team events. The minimum required number of games is 13. Practice will start on October 14th and workouts can start on September 21st.

This news comes after the announcement that the Big Ten will now begin their 2020 football season at the end of October. The NCAA should be announcing testing protocols in order to play, especially if there is no bubble. There have been discussions about a tournament bubble and expanded tournament, but nothing is solidified on that front yet.
