In a not-so-surprising announcement today, it’s being reported that the PAC-12 Conference will play football starting in November.
Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the conference had opted out of any fall sports in the final quarter of 2020. However, after the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 decided to continue on with their season and the Big Ten reversed course on their initial postponement, the PAC-12 has finally come to their own realizations regarding fall sports.
There haven’t been any further details released yet and Heather Dinich has not shared anything from her verified Twitter account either. Apparently, a seven-game season will commence on November 6th and will most likely take a similar route to the other conferences in terms of travel.
Obviously, this is exciting news for all college football fans. The more football we get, the merrier. Right?
We’ll update as more information unfolds.
