In a surprising announcement today, the Tennessee Titans have reportedly suspended team activities due to several positive COVID-19 tests.
Adam Schefter reports that several members of the Titans’ organization have tested positive and that all in-person work has been halted.
Having just played the Minnesota Vikings, it’s wise to assume that Minnesota will be doing a thorough cleansing of all equipment and further testing as they have already halted their practices as well.
As far as we know, this is an isolated situation and hopefully will not spill over into the rest of the league.
UPDATE: 9/30/20, 10:26 AM CT – As a result of the positive COVID-19 tests, this weekend’s Steelers vs. Titans game will reportedly be postponed.
Ian Rapoport reports that the game will be pushed back until either Monday or Tuesday.
