The NFL Week 4 main slate of action will be one game short this weekend. The Titans and Steelers will not play due to multiple positive COVID-19 tests amongst Tennessee players and staffers. The game has been rescheduled for October 25th. The rest of the games must go on and there are plenty of intriguing games to have players in. Get ready for all the action with this week’s DFS rundown and good luck to everyone this weekend.
Lock: Patrick Mahomes (FD:$8.7K/DK:$7.4K) – This week’s matchup should be a back-and-forth contest between the new-look Patriots and the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Super Bowl MVP put together a major performance last week. He will look to continue that against a defense that sits in the middle of the pack so far this season.
Value: Jared Goff (FD:$7.5K/DK:$6.7K) – This one hurts to mention. Goff is not always the best option. However, the Rams are starting to get the ball moving around on offense. When that happens, their star quarterback really shines. Goff has put together two solid performances in back-to-back weeks. He can continue that trend against a Giants defense that is struggling this season.
Lock: Dalvin Cook (FD:$8.7K/DK:$7.6K) – Top-tier running back against the worst rush defense? Yup, lock it in! Cook had a total of 24 touches last week and that should continue that again this week against a very bad Texans’ defense.
Value: Devin Singletary (FD:$6.0K/DK:$5.9K) – With Zach Moss out last week, the second-year back got pretty much all the work. It wasn’t a huge workload, but Singletary still logged 17 total touches. This week, Moss comes back and that might scare people away. Keep in mind that he is still working back from an injury so the Bills will want to continue to hand the ball off to Singletary if they are winning. The matchup against the Raiders is a good one, as they rank near the bottom of the league in rushing defense.
Lock: Tyler Lockett (FD:$7.5K/DK:$7.0K) – The Wilson to Lockett combination has been scary good this season. The Seahawks’ offense is clicking in every facet, so lock this in because Lockett is underpriced. He has been targeted at least eight times in all three games this season and that will not change this week. The high-scoring games continue for Seattle.
Value: Tyler Boyd (FD:$6.0K/DK:$6.1K) – A quarterback’s favorite teammate is a wide receiver who catches nearly everything. For the Bengals, that player is Tyler Boyd, who has been a key piece to this offense. He has recorded 21 total catches on the season and that consistency should continue this week as the Jaguars like to fight back. This one could be another back-and-forth contest that comes down to the wire. Expect a seven-catch, 85-yard game with a touchdown this week.
Lock: Travis Kelce (FD:$7.6K/DK:$6.8K) – He is the highest-priced tight end for a reason. Kelce will be able to help his team in any way when the Chiefs face a Patriots team that will be battling to the bitter end. The game should be a high-scoring affair.
Value: Jimmy Graham (FD:$5.1K/DK:$3.8K) – Nick Foles is now taking over at quarterback for the Chicago Bears. Look for him to utilize a new favorite target in Jimmy Graham. The Bears have a tough matchup against the Colts, as they will bring a highly-touted defense into Soldier Field. Regardless, expect the Bears’ two veterans to rely on each other pretty heavily over the next few games.
#CrackUm Player Of The Week
Alvin Kamara (FD:$8.8K/DK:$8.0K) – The Saints will still be without Michael Thomas again, which is always a big hole to fill. In such instances, Kamara has become vital to Brees as a pass-catcher. He was able to secure 13 receptions on 14 targets last week. This matchup against the Lions will be no different. Detroit will always put up a fight and that should result in more points for Kamara.
