Bears, Marquee Sports Network Announce New Partnership
The Bears and Marquee Sports Network announce an unexpected partnership; weekly Bears programming starts this Wednesday
The Chicago Bears and Marquee Sports Network, the exclusive home of the Chicago Cubs, have announced a new partnership.
Marquee and the Bears will be teaming up to bring Bears content to the network.
The Monsters of the Midway will be getting their own weekly show, “Bear Essentials”. It will typically air every Tuesday evening. The show will be hosted by Cole Wright (formerly of the NFL Network) and will feature Bears personnel and analysts.
Immediately following “Bear Essentials” will be a two-hour director’s cut re-airing of the most recent Bears regular season game.
However, there is one caveat to this new partnership…blackouts.
Bears fans outside the Chicagoland area, Rockford or South Bend will not get to view the new weekly programming.
The new exclusive Bears content will start this week:
Beginning this Wednesday, October 14, Bear Essentials will air at 7p.m.* immediately following The Stadium. The Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers matchup, which had a fantastic finish, will re-air immediately following Bear Essentials at 7:30pm*.Per Marquee Sports Network
